I do not remember how I learned that. Nor if I was disappointed or not. At that time I had worst thing to worry about, because I knew that my father will get drunk and then we will have a hard time.

But I remember thinking a lot if I should teach my son about Santa.

I decided for yes. If I was not able to enjoy Christmas, I could at least try to create some magic for him.

And I remember being very careful about how I reveal to him that it is the Spirit that is true, not the bearded man that he sees in movies.

Now, I believe in that Spirit more and more. I even have a favourite story about this, I wrote about it here. I`d wish I knew this story when my son was little.
